Laser tattoo removal

Laser tattoo removal technology has developed rapidly over the past decade. To The Point Tattoos Salon is one of the salons in Rugby with laser tattoo removal equipment.

Tattoo removal has been a To The Point Tattoos Salon service for over six years. This made it possible to accumulate experience in skin care after skincare and develop new techniques, especially for:

  • Removing coloured tattoos
  • Treating darker skin types
  • Handling heavy coverage tattos
  • Removing semi- permanent make-up
  • Addressing recalcitrant tattoos

To The Point Tattoos salon has the latest and highest quality laser machine, enabling the most up-to-date service for laser tattoo removal in the UK. At To The Point Tattoos, the quality of the laser machine is essential to us; we only purchase the best FDA-approved equipment from trusted, reliable manufacturers.

Procedure

The laser shatters and disperses the ink into tiny fragments, allowing white blood cells to remove them safely.

The laser starts at the skin's surface, gradually reaching deeper layers with each session, visibly lightening the tattoo.

Adequate time between sessions is crucial to avoid targeting the same ink twice, which could waste a session.

Heat buildup may cause redness, blisters, or pinpoint bleeding, depending on the laser's intensity.

Proper aftercare ensures good skin health, and the tattoo will fade until removed or too deep to eliminate.

Avoid sun exposure between sessions to prevent pigmentation changes, using plasters or suitable clothing.

Benefits

Cleaner, ink-free skin without skin damage! Laser tattoo removal once took 2-3 years, but thanks to advanced technology, most clients with regular tattoos will only need one to two years of treatment (depending on the quality of the tattoo ink in the skin). The removal process has changed rapidly, making it accessible to all skin types with faster removal times; it has become more affordable and, importantly, leaves the skin in better condition. Many clients have no visible signs of ever having a tattoo!

  • ☑ Skin tests are £20 of charge (required 48 hours before treatment)
  • ☑ Sessions can be performed every 6-8 weeks.
  • ☑ Small Tattoos can take 2 minutes to laser!
  • ☑ Numbing cream can be applied beforehand.
  • ☑ Cooling frozen pillow improves discomfort and blistering.
  • ☑ Aftercare antiseptic cream (Savlon, Bepanthen) is required for each session.
  • ☑ A typical tattoo can be gone in less than a year if the skin is kept soft with antiseptic cream!

Risk

Laser tattoo removal carries some risks. Choosing the right laser for your skin type and ink colour is crucial for maintaining skin health.

At To The Point Tattoos Salon, we prioritize your skin's well-being to ensure the best possible results.

We provide aftercare guidance to aid healing, as blisters are a normal part of the process. Our trained practitioners use techniques like cooling or splitting treatments to minimize blistering.

Skin tone changes can occur, especially with sun exposure, friction, or improper aftercare.

Scarring is rare and usually depends on skin type and aftercare. Pre-existing tattoo scars may affect ink removal, but further skin resurfacing can help.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Intense Pulsed Light, or IPL, is another service To The Point Tattoos offers.

Intense Pulsed Light hair removal (IPL) is a cosmetic procedure that eliminates or reduces undesirable hair using light. The apparatus emits light energy, which is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in hair follicles.

This absorption causes follicle injury, ultimately impeding hair growth. IPL is particularly effective for individuals with dark hair and a fair complexion.

To achieve long-lasting results, multiple sessions are typically required.
